today’s weigh-in wasn’t really something that bothered me, because I knew I’d been slacking this week and it would probably show some weight-gain or if I was lucky simply the weight I’ve been maintaining the past month.
I skipped my workout class this week, I had to work twice which means twice the tasting, snacking and leftovers, and just yesterday evening I had drinks and chocolate fondue. I was expecting at least 2 pounds more on the scale from bloating alone.
So somebody please explain to me how I managed to lose 3 pounds?
I’m trying not to be too giddy about it and I’ll probably weigh myself again tomorrow to make sure it’s not just a daily blip, but
3 pounds! That’s more than the entire last month combined! AND I’M ONLY TWO POUNDS AWAY FROM SEEING THE 70KG LINE VANISH!

the last time I wore this fitted shirt, it was a bit too tight and I couldn’t sit down without stretching the buttons
and now it feels so lose it’s actually not ‘fitted’ anymore, more like a men’s shirt…

They vary between 100cals, so basically my BMR is between 1450 and 1550…
and now I’m even more unsure. :C
On the one hand, myfitnesspal set my daily calorie goal at 1200, which is wayyy below that!
On the other hand, I don’t think I’ve been logging my food well enough and I might have gone up to 1400-1500 quite often.
So I don’t know if I should up my intake or not. I’ll definitely have to try and log better. Unfortunately using a search engine based on American food is kind of impractical for my German meals, I often don’t even know what I should search for and just go for the most appropriate option that doesn’t sway too much in terms of calories..

I’m down to 72.4kg
about 1kg/2pounds less than what i had before I went on that fateful foodful (ohjeez) vacation to Cornwall
and sooooooooooooooooooo close to the 10kg/20pounds lost mark it’s making me giddy

I can’t weigh myself until i get back ‘home’ on Monday where the good scale is waiting for me, so I’ll just have a blissful weekend of not knowing if my weight changed.
I ate horribly on holiday. And I mean it. Since we couldn’t afford restaurants all that often, we bought a lot of snacks and sweets at supermarkets to tide us over. I think I ate chocolate for breakfast 6 out of 9 days.
Then there was the chinese take away I’m so madly in love with and fish&chips and dietcoke all the time.
The good part is that while I ate badly, I never ate too much. Kathe has a very small appetite and so we often shared a dish instead of getting two, and she held me back subconsciously whenever I felt like stuffing my face more than necessary.
Long story short, my pants and clothes don’t feel any tighter, my skin didn’t have its typical “Oh god so much fatty food” breakout and I don’t even feel bloated. So even if I’ve gained back weight I won’t care much, I think.

vintage-fit:
- having a stomach that doesn’t jut out more than my boobs in side view
- buying one niece set of lingerie and actually looking good in it
- being able to wear a belt made for women/girls - so far I’ve always had to shop in the men’s section for belts :(
- better posture and core strength
buying a pair of pants at a regular young fashion store without having to jump to get into it
BYE BACKFAT
- getting my boobs to look nicer by working out chest/arm muscles
I found this old post while cleaning out my fitblr.
I’m proud to say that I’m currently wearing H&M pants. And I noticed this morning that I don’t have a visible fatline/flab on my back anymore.
