I tried my hand at making my own peanutbutter today, since I just finished the glass I had bought.
It went really well! I’d read somewhere that it takes about two minutes for the peanuts to turn into butter, but it happened a lot faster than that. Although it isn’t completely creamy, the consistency reminds me of Reese’s peanutbutter cups. A bit grainy.
The only problem? I didn’t realize the peanuts I’ve bought were salted.
Now I’ve got salty peanutbutter.
I really don’t know what to do with that.
